The 2019 GA National Fair is history. Of the over 500,000 people who attended, 4065 found their way to the Wordless Book Tent and heard the Gospel Story. This was no accident! God appointed them to be there according to His will. Some were already believers, but found a new way to witness. Some of those want to be storytellers next year. Some heard the story, but refused the free gift of salvation. Pray that a seed is planted and they will someday accept Christ. Most exciting are the number of salvations. 1022 people accepted Christ!. There were 262 children, 599 teens, and 161 adults who professed. Praise God! A bountiful harvest indeed! The 2020 fair is less than a year away! You can be a part of this exciting work. Contact Mattie Lynn Coonce to learn how. Here are a few more pictures of the Fair. The first is of Jean Snow, the original "Fair Lady." She is 88 and not too old to share the Gospel! In fact, we had another faithful storyteller this year who is 90! God can use anyone to tell the Story. Next is Missionary Eric with new story teller Lisa sharing the Gospel. She is on fire for this ministry! The next picture is of one of our new Spanish speaking storytellers, Carolina, sharing with a group. We were so blessed to have several Spanish speaking storytellers this year to witness. In previous years, many Spanish speaking people would pass the tent by because we had no one to witness to them in their language. The next two pictures are of believers who came into the tent and received "commisioning books." Developed by Eric, with inputs from many seasoned storytellers, the books provide step-by-step training and a script for using the Wordless Books These folks will use these tools to tell others about Christ! The last picture is of several of our Florida based missionaries leaving on the last day of the Fair. So long until next year! Here is a pic of the daily tallies and the totals.

The really hot days are past and folks are coming to the Fair in droves! Nearly 3000 people have heard the Wordless Book Story and 759 have accepted Christ as their Savior! Just three days to go! Please continue to pray for the Fair and the workers that the work would continue to be blessed. Below are some pictures from the Fair. The first is of a daughter of a Storyteller leading her friend to Christ. What a friend! Look how excited she is! Next is a young believer, also excited about just trusting Christ. The third picture is of a very tired missionary storyteller. There is some rest for the weary when there are other fresh storytellers. These missionary storytellers come from long distances, some using vacation time, to work the long hours (0900AM-1000PM) every day in the Fair tent! The last picture is of a food donation from Sonny's BBQ, one of several local eateries that support the ministry at the Fair. many thanks to them and the others for their support. All of these wonderful folks will be recognized in a future post and I encourage you to support them with your patronage as a thank you for their support.
431 people have accepted Christ as their Savior and there are six more days of the Fair to go! Below is a picture of the "original" Fair Lady, Mrs. Jean Snow. Unable to come for the past few years, she is back this year and still on fire to share the Gospel with a lost world. Also below is our newest storyteller, Antoinette. Bilingual, she is able to witness in English and Spanish. What a blessing!
So far, 1037 have heard the Gospel at the Wordless Book Tent Ministry. 278 of those made professions of faith. Praise God! Please pray that more would come into the tent and hear God's Word. Also pray for strength for the workers. The days are long and hot!
The GA National Fair started Oct 3 and the last two days have been scorchers. But people are hearing the Gospel and receiving Christ. You can be a part of this Gospel outreach too! The days will be cooler now and the harvest is great. We need workers for the harvest. Contact Mattie Lynn Coonce at 478-952-2745 if YOU would like to tell others about Christ at the Fair. Below is a picture of the tent just before the gates opened Thursday.
