2012 Georgia National Fair Newsletter
The Georgia National Fair was a huge success this year! The weather was perfect all 11 days especially with our air conditioner cooling the tent in side. I had storytellers full time, from Kentucky, Florida and Wisconsin. There were many local return storytellers from various churches. It was encouraging to train several new storytellers and watch as they shared the Good News in the tent. My pastor (Fred McCoy) helped several days. It was encouraging and a tremendous blessing to me. My ministry partner, Mike Barnes donated a wonderful golf cart for our use during the fair. A beautiful family in Perry donated the use of their new cabin for our ministry team. It was only minutes from the fairgrounds. It is so amazing to me to watch how God provides our every need according to His riches in glory. I was blessed to lead a father and daughter to the Lord as the mother sat between them. As they left the tent she told me “now her family was complete in the LORD!” We were blessed to have so many teens respond to the Gospel this year! May God keep His hand of protection and guidance upon them as they grow in Him. The total number recorded that heard this year was 4,750 with 1,316 professions including 320 children, 823 teens and 173 adults. I want to thank everyone who prayed for this ministry and helped in anyway. May God bless you as you serve Him with gladness? Please continue to pray for the new babes in Christ and all who heard the Gospel at the Georgia National Fair. Oklahoma state fair
I will have to get those 2012 dates for you from one of his earlier emails. Here are the stats from Dennis Clark Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Thank you for your prayers. We reached over 1500 children, teens and adults with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Oklahoma State Fair. We had around 600 professions of faith. Please continue to pray for those who responded to the Gospel that the Holy Spirit will lead them to Bible believing churches to be discipled. Pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit to those who will be presenting the Gospel using the Wordless Book as a tool leaving the work of the Lord Jesus Christ to save them. Your Brother in Christ,Dennis Clark We set the tent up yesterday late. We have an AMAZING spot this year. The tent is in the center of activity. The fairgrounds are completely covered over with various venders. With that said, I need storytellers desperately. Even if you can come out for one evening or during the day on the week-ends that would be a blessing. So far it is John Lanier and I. I did not ask out of town storytellers this year for several reasons. In my panic this morning I was tempted to call or email several with a petition for help. But God spoke to my heart and I am convinced to ask for local help first. If you can give anytime to share the Good News of the Gospel at the Ga. State Fair this week please call me or email me. Week days I need help from 4-9pm. Sat. 10 am -9pm Sun. 2pm-9pm. Or any hours you can show up!
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thanks for your prayers. We had a wet Saturday in Clewiston and the crowds were light compared to last year. This year the Clewiston Sugar festival was sponsored by the Seminole Indian tribe. Tom and Fran Christenson came out from Jupiter, Florida to help minister to the children, teens and adults that heard the Gospel. We ministered to 116 people and 78 made professions of faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray for those who responded and those who heard that they will be brought to repentance and be discipled in Bible believing churches. Your Brother in Christ, Dennis Clark I just ordered a "New" commercial grade 10' by 10 ' tent. I will be able to add this to the 10' by 10' I now have so I can get two extra stations and a small kitchen area. I will be using this for the Spring Fair in Macon. Thank You Houston Lake Church Family for your wonderful support as we reach the Lost in our area.
All monies paid in full for the Spring Fair. Thank you and Bless you Barnes Spray Foam
