Thank you for your prayers. Rita's eyes are getting better after her cataract surgery. She is able to drive and she is slowly weaning off of her medicine. Lynn Coonce did an outstanding job of coordinating the workers, food, tent activities and donations from many local Christians and businesses at the Georgia National Fair. Here are the totals recorded from the work in Perry, Georgia. Pray that the Holy Ghost will guide those who made professions and those who heard the Gospel will be brought to repentance to praise our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
A Muslim and his wife came into the Wordless Book tent and sat down in front of me. I presented the Gospel using the wordless book. He flat out told me that he did not believe the Gospel. I asked him what he didn't believe. He said that Jesus was a prophet but not the Son of God and that Mohammad was the last prophet. I told him that Jesus as a prophet said " I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." I asked him, "Was Jesus as a prophet lying?" I then asked "Does Allah have a son?"
He replied "no!". I then told him that the God of the Bible has a Son and then quoted John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I told him, "you see the god of Islam is not the God of the Bible." There were many Muslims at the fair this year and many heard the Gospel. Pray that God will open their eyes.
